Whisk together all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the center.
In a separate bowl, whisk togethether all wet ingredients. Pour into the well and stir the mixture just until combined. There will be some small clumps.
Pour about 1/4 to 1/2 cup batter onto the waffle iron. Cook 3-5 minutes.
Serve with hot maple syrup.
Homemade Maple Syrup
Stir together sugars and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil.
Boil for 2 minutes and remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and mapleine flavoring and vanilla and serve warm.
