Sometimes, the kids just need a snazzy tool to motivate them to cook for themselves. That is exactly what my Hamilton Beach Sandwich Maker (aff. link) does for my kids. As long as I keep the right ingredients on hand, the kids take care of their breakfasts (and sometimes lunches, too). Thank you to my dear friend, Louise, for introducing me to this little beauty.
Hot Breakfast Sandwiches

Servings 6 people
Ingredients

- 6 large eggs
- 6 slices Canadian bacon
- 6 slices cheddar cheese

- Slice the English muffin and place the bottom half in the bottom ring of the sandwich maker. Top with bacon and cheese.
- Close the flat plate and crack the egg into the top ring. Scramble it just a little with a fork, and sprinkle with salt and pepper, if desired. Place the top half of the English muffin on top of the egg.
