Quick and Easy Breakfast Sandwich

Megan3113 views

Sometimes, the kids just need a snazzy tool to motivate them to cook for themselves. That is exactly what my Hamilton Beach Sandwich Maker (aff. link) does for my kids. As long as I keep the right ingredients on hand, the kids take care of their breakfasts (and sometimes lunches, too). Thank you to my dear friend, Louise, for introducing me to this little beauty.

Ingredients

  • 6 English Muffins Whole Wheat
  • 6 large eggs
  • 6 slices Canadian bacon
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Slice the English muffin and place the bottom half in the bottom ring of the sandwich maker. Top with bacon and cheese.
  • Close the flat plate and crack the egg into the top ring. Scramble it just a little with a fork, and sprinkle with salt and pepper, if desired. Place the top half of the English muffin on top of the egg.
  • Close the cooking lid and let the sandwich maker cook the sandwich for 2 minutes. Open the lid, scrape the egg by pulling the flat plate away, and pull out the sandwich.
