When I feel a cold coming on, or I am just trying to kick-start my immune system, I like to whip up a good smoothie. It may be the placebo effect, but it certainly doesn’t hurt to eat extra nutrition when you are feeling a little off. This smoothie is packed with antioxidants, vitamins, calcium, iron, fiber, and probiotics to help you feel better. The best part is that it tastes good too! Enjoy!
|Berry Peachy Smoothie
1 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt
2 Medium Fresh peaches, halved and pitted
1/2 Large Cucumber, mostly peeled
1 handful spinach
1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
1 Tablespoon Ground Flax seed
Add ingredients in the order listed above. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings.
